Victoria’s 2024-25 Skilled Migration Program is now open

Victoria’s 2024-25 Skilled Migration Visa Nomination Program officially opened on 14 August 2024, giving an important opportunity for skilled professionals interested in relocating to Victoria.

The state’s 5,000 skilled visa nomination places are divided between the following two visas:

- 3,000 places for Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visas, offering permanent residency and the flexibility to live and work anywhere in Victoria

- 2,000 places for Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visas, offering a pathway to permanent residency after 3 years and allowing nominated skills workers to live and work in regional Victoria

Nominations are open to those living in Victoria or overseas.

To be invited to apply for Victorian skilled nomination, interested applicants must first lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) via SkillSelect and then submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) to the Victorian government.
